I will be on vacation next week and I hope to get more designs finished. I should have my weaving project finished tonight so that I can take it with me. If I do finish it I will post a picture.

My shawl or wrap

I've been working on my shawl/ wrap for the last couple off days. I want to finish it before I go on vacation. We are going to Branson, Missouri. I hope to find some local yarn stores along the way. If you know of any please let me know. I will be coming from Orlando, Florida. I have been working on my latest design. It is a peace symbol bracelet. It will be ready before I go on vacation I hope. I will be working on several others while on vacation because it will be a long drive and I won't have to drive. I will also be homeschooling Austin while we are in the van. If you have any interesting ideas for things to do on the trip I would love to hear them. Well I better go I have some weaving to get done. Only 50 more inches to go.

Pink Ribbon

My friend Christy Wurzbach is a 34 year old breast cancer survivor. She was diagnosed at the age of 33, and thankfully found an amazing group of young woman to help her through the scariest time of her life. The young survivor coalition is a group of women in their teens, twenties, and thirties dealing with breast cancer. Please help her support this wonderful organization so it can thrive and continue helping woman who literally don't know where to turn. And let's get rid of this disease before all the boobies are gone!!!

Her website is www.active.com/donate/run4survivalnyc08/christywurzbach

If you purchase the Pink Ribbon pattern on my etsy site You will be donating to this cause.
Please help her in her quest to run a marathon for something that is dear to her heart.

New Bracelet Patterns

Well here are 2 more designs I have made. This one I will sell the pattern and donate the money to the charity my friend is going to run the New York marathon for. She is going to email me the details. I want to help her raise money so she can run. She is a breast cancer survivor and I can't run with her, so I thought this was the next best thing that I could do. Everything will be up on my etsy site in about 3 days. This project took me 1 1/2 days at work to make.
I made this Israeli flag to show my support for the Jewish people. I will also be donating money to Ezra International. They help Jewish people all over the world financially so that they can make their way back home to Israel. Their web site is http://www.ezrausa.org/ They do amazing work. Check them out.I have woven about 40 inches so far. I started weaving with this yarn with puff balls on it. I like it. It is also fun to weave with. Well I am off to making more bracelets.
