Atlanta Trip

Stone Mountain Georgia is a beautiful area. There are many things you can do there. You can hike up the mountain, go on a sky hike ( I don't have pictures of that, my mom does), ride on a cable car lift up the mountain, ride on a train, putt putt golf, see a 3- D movie, eat yummy home style food where they actually throw your roll at you, and admire the beautiful sites.

Austin and Barry were tired from climbing up this mountain. O.K. this is trick photography, but it sure looks like they are climbing up it.

Whew, we stopped for a break, Aidan, my 3 yr. old climbed the whole way with out me carrying him.

We were at the Atlanta Tea Party. There were so many people there. It was hard for me to see what was going on from my chair, but I heard people chanting for our constitutional rights, and for govt. to cut back on spending. It was a unique experience. I pray that our kids will not suffer from all this spending. How is it all going to get payed back?
This was the best seat in all of Atlanta. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

My most comfortable shoes ever made it to Atlanta, Can you see the CNN building in the back ground? We went to the Georgia Aquarium next to see the fishes. I am wearing a knitting hat my wonderful in laws gave me from there vacation in the islands. I love it.

They had some cool jelly fish in this tank.

The coolest animal they had is the Whale Shark. They shipped it over to the U.S.A. from Taiwan using UPS. They are the only aquarium In the U.S. that has one. The biggest one was 28 feet long. They also had a huge manta ray.

Isn't it cool? I got so much crocheting done on this trip. I am making another doll and finished her head and body on this trip.
On the way back we stopped for some gas and I saw this beautiful wheat field. I ran over to get a photo, you don't see this everyday in Orlando. This trip was made in 2 1/2 days. We crammed so much into these days. If only the tea party was going on the same time as Stitches South. I missed it by one week. Barry assured me that if it is held in Atlanta next year, I could go. It didn't make sense to head back up one week later. Not to mention Austin's got a little behind in his school work. We are slowly catching back up. We saw our prizes we won at the Central Florida Fair. I will post it on my next one. It was very exciting for my son Austin.

All the times I've been to and through Atlanta and I haven't been to Stone Mountain yet. Looks like I'm missing out!
