Good Grief!
It's true, I am not perfect! and I will give everyone a tip. If you are knitting with Denise interchangeable needles, you may not want to knit tightly or this could happen to you! I tried to move my stitches and they would not slide. So I pulled a tad bit harder and Whamo! Thank goodness I was only 17 rows into this shawl so I wasn't that devastated!

My First Ever Toe Up Sock, and Other Projects
This is my first toe up sock. I am using Judy's magic loop cast on method. I am doing one at a time, because I didn't want to make my head spin! This sock pattern is from the Percy Jackson Kal I am doing on Ravelry. The pattern called for stitch markers and all I have are the markers that are plastic and thick, so I got out some contrasting yarn and tied it in a circle and wa la a stitch marker!
I am usually good about not having too many projects going at the same time, but this is a project that I want to slowly work on anyway. It is the Tikvah Shawl on Ravelry. I normally have 2 projects going. One easy and one hard. It is easy to knit the easy pattern in the car, so I take that one. Then I save the hard one for knitting at home. I like to maximise my knitting into every possible second that I have :)
This next rectangle shawl is a stitch pattern from one of the Vogue books. I am participating in a Traveling Shawl Swap. I will be knitting 12" of this shawl, then 5 other girls will be knitting the rest. Then I will be knitting their shawls. I can't wait to see what I will be knitting. Whew.... I've got some knitting to do!

Tikvah Shawl Beginning
Well not sure which yarn I want to use to knit up this next shawl. This is the Tikvah Shawl. It is so beautiful. I was thinking I would use one of the Storied yarns for this project, but I don't know which yarn I would use on that one either. Therefore, I decided to knit this shawl twice. Also this shawl will be knit up at my leisure. I don't want to knit it under pressure like the last one I did. I am under no time limits on this one. My Storied yarns will be here soon. I can't wait to knit those either!

Jill's Shawl
My friend Jill's shawl is finished. I finished it on my quick trip to Atlanta. I had 15 hours to work on it. This was an easy garter stitch triangle shawl. This was the yarn I got from Storied Yarn I love the colors. I hope this shawl brings her comfort. I love you Jill.

My Mother's Shawl Is Home!
The Shawl finally has a home!We had dinner at Chillies and gave it to her. All I had was my camera phone to take a picture, so I'll have to get a better pic from my mom. She has a good camera.

The Shawl is drying!
Almost finished! It is waiting to dry! Ahh sweet bliss.
If you look at the falling leaves pattern on Ravelry, you can see that this shawl looks a little bit different.I thought I would add 10 knit st at beg and end. Something happend. Well either I added a stitch or something, but these leaves really look like they are falling. I think it is a neat looking mistake. I love it! I can't wait to give it to my Mom!
