Above is a package I received from Everimprovingme! It is a SAL I wanted to participate in and my parents got it for me for my birthday. This is an amazing present because I will get so much enjoyment from it. There is coffee beans, tea, coffee and tea flavored candy, a stitch marker, a coffee mug (on the other side it says Twin A!) and lastly 4oz. of yummy Carmel Macchiato colorway that has Alpaca, fine merino, BFL, polwarth, firestar, and bamboo fiber in it! The fiber is Shetland/ with nepps, bamboo, polwarth, N2 romney, faux mohair, and firestar. It is really soft. She also sent me a reusable sandwich bag she made, a stitch marker that looks good enough to eat, a magnet, pen, coaster, and some tea which I have already had! Spun yarn, and Gifts

The above picture is from a fellow Raveler. She made this for me as a RAOK (Random Act of Kindness) in a gift exchange I am in that is themed Harry Potter. On the left are stitch markers. They look like eyes. On the left is a bracelet. I had a mishap before I could take a picture on it. I was moving over in my seat and the bracelet got caught under my leg. I will fix it soon.

The yarn on the bottom is a yarn I spun on y spinning wheel. It is part of a Nursery Rhyme SAL I am doing. It is called Little Boy Blue. Since I am having a baby boy in December I thought this was perfect. I love how the colors spun together in this single ply yarn. I got this from Storied Yarns! I just love spinning her fiber!

I have all this sheep wool to spin and this is only about an 1/8th of it. There has to be a faster way to clean this wool. I am glad that i have all of this practice wool to learn how to spin on my wheel. Come on hurry up and dry! I want to spin.
I am making a knitting needle holder for a fellow knitter that won it from me as a prize for most WIP completed as a challenge.
This will be the front of the holder once I finish it.

This will be the inside once I finish it.

So far all I have done is cut it out and sewed the top together. This is a fun project to do with  quilter's fabric bundles. I will post more pictures of the completed project soon.

Small Project Bags

I was in a stash busting group the past couple of months. We did some prizes for different categories.
There were some of us that won some things, but I wanted everyone to win, so I made these bags for everyone that participated. I made one for me as well. While I made them, I also busted my fabric stash! Win! Win!
