Athena Hat

I had one day to finish this hat, so I knit on this hat all day at Island's Of Adventure. You can get a lot of knitting done standing in lines.

I had to stretch it as far as it would go. My daughter put it on and was a tad small. I have a tad bit of yarn left. I am hoping to do 1 round of a crocheted edge.  I love this colorway.

I knit this hat double stranded to simulate a worsted weight yarn. It worked out pretty well. I think I am on a hat kick!

looks good!

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who passes the time standing in lines by knitting. On one trip to Six Flags, the security person checked my bag, saw knitting and said, "you must be planning on being bored." I laughed and told her that I was actually planning on NOT being bored. I get lots of knitting done at amusement parks.

Like the colors! Am filing away the fact that you can knit in Universal (one of the amusement parks near here has a problem with letting you bring in knittong needles :( )

You were knitting so fast and never ran into anyone. It was Most impressive! If there is ever a contest for walking and knitting at the same time you would win!

I can't see the cool T-shirt projects you made, but I bet they're awesome too!
