My Annis Shawl

I'm well on my way to getting my Annis shawl finished. I checked on ravelry and I am amazed some knitters are completing this shawl in a couple of days. I didn't enjoy the nupps at all. I am now starting on my short rows and then will have another skein out of my stash! I will be working hard at getting some of my stash yarn knitted up, as it has grown over the summer. Yikes! I do enjoy looking at the cakes sitting on my shelf. It's kind of Artsy looking!

I don't think I've ever knit nupps and I have not learned to like short rows. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished shawl!

I like nupps far better than bobbles!

Cool!! That's the one I've been wanting to knit, but keep delaying due to the nupps. I have a terrible time trying to stay in the right place in a pattern. I just looked at it again last night and still considered starting it. I envision a total mess. Yours is looking great.

I felt the same way you did! I only did one row of nupps, the rest of the time I just skipped them. I thought this shawl was a little on the tedious side, but it turned out pretty!
